How Linux Could Overthrow Microsoft
Interesting article on How Linux Could Overthrow Microsoft. You see that Microsoft is starting to change it's model, they are now opening some parts of their API to developers and vendors, but not all. Will Microsoft be completely overthrown? I don't think so, Microsoft is too smart to go away. But I bet deep down Microsoft knows that if it doesn't do something, it's competitors will beat them up. You can see that with Google for searching. I don't think Microsoft will completely open source Windows, that's giving away their bread and butter which they've worked for more than 20 years.
